Our
Services
Accessible Therapy Services
At Children, Adolescence & Beyond Psychotherapy Clinic, we are committed to making high-quality therapeutic support accessible to individuals and families within our community. Our Reduced-Cost Counselling Service offers affordable therapy options while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards. This service is delivered by student and pre-accredited therapists, all of whom work under the close supervision and guidance of experienced, fully accredited senior clinicians.
Who Provides Reduced-Cost Counselling?
Student Therapists
Student therapists are currently completing recognised professional psychotherapy and counselling training programmes. They are undertaking their clinical placements as part of their qualification and are considered pre-accredited. Many bring valuable prior experience from related professional or care backgrounds.
Pre-Accredited Therapists
Pre-accredited therapists have completed their core professional training and are actively working towards full accreditation with their relevant professional body. They continue to develop their clinical practice under structured supervision.
Clinical Supervision
All therapists in our reduced-cost service receive regular, formal supervision from senior, fully accredited psychotherapists. This ensures safe, ethical, and effective therapeutic work at all times.
Our Approach
Our Accessible Therapy Service offers a supportive, confidential, and non-judgemental space. Therapy may be short-term or longer-term, depending on individual needs.
Therapists work from integrative and evidence-based approaches, which may include:
Person-Centred Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Developmentally informed and trauma-aware practice
All work is delivered in line with Irish professional standards and ethical codes, with an
emphasis on ongoing learning and reflective practice.
Accessibility & Affordability
We believe that financial barriers should not prevent access to therapeutic support. Accessible Therapy sessions are offered at a lower fee than standard clinic rates, while maintaining a high standard of care. Session availability may vary depending on therapist placement schedules, and a waiting list may apply at times. We always aim to match clients with a suitable therapist as promptly as
possible.
