Maura recieved her B.Sc in Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Middlesex in 2010. She also holds a Bachehlor of Social Studies (Social Work) from Trinity College Dublin. She has a Diploma in Supervisionfrom the Super-Vision Training Institute ( Limerick)

Maura has over 20 years of clinical experience of working with clients affect by abuse and trauma. She worked for many years as a theraputic clinician, supervisor and service manager with young people and families affected by sexual abuse. She also has significant experience of working within the public mental health service with presentations such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and neurodiversity. She currently balances employment in the hospice service with work in private practice.

Maura is accredited by the IACP as a psychotherapist and supervisor and is a CORU registered Social Worker
