About Me
As a pre-accredited counselling psychotherapist, I provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you can explore whatever has brought you to therapy. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, or navigating a significant life transition, I offer a compassionate environment where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.
My approach is person-centred and integrative, recognising that every individual is unique. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you develop greater self-awareness, process difficult emotions, build resilience, and move towards meaningful and lasting change.
I am currently completing a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, reflecting my commitment to ongoing professional development and providing compassionate, evidence-informed care. Alongside my studies, I work with clients in a supervised clinical setting, ensuring my practice is guided by professional standards, ethical practice, and continual learning.
With over twenty years of experience supporting adults and young people, I understand that life can bring periods of challenge, uncertainty, and change. I believe therapy provides an opportunity not only to navigate these difficulties but also to foster personal growth, greater self-understanding, and lasting emotional wellbeing.
As a former elite athlete, I have a particular interest in supporting athletes and individuals involved in high-performance environments. I understand the unique pressures associated with performance, identity, injury, and transition, and I provide a therapeutic space where these experiences can be explored with empathy and understanding.
Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, my aim is to build a warm, non-judgemental, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to explore your experiences and supported in working towards improved emotional wellbeing.
