About the workshop

Parenting a child or teenager who struggles with anxiety can feel overwhelming and worrying. It can be particularly tense and difficult at Christmas time.

Many parents find themselves unsure of what to say, how to help, or when to step in. Anxiety can show up in different ways from constant worries and sleep problems to school refusal, withdrawal, or big emotional outbursts. It can leave both parents and children feeling powerless.

This workshop is designed to give you clarity and confidence. Together we will explore:

  • How anxiety affects children and adolescents at different stages of development.

  • Practical, everyday strategies you can use at home to ease anxious moments.

  • Ways to strengthen your child or adolescents coping skills and resilience.

  • Signs that your child may need additional professional support.

  • Tools for parents to manage their own stress and stay calm in challenging times.

You will leave with reassurance, practical guidance, and a renewed sense of confidence in supporting your child or adolescents wellbeing.
